Free personal finance calculators & money tools

6 interactive calculators and 7 printable checklists, planners and templates. Everything runs in your browser: nothing is saved, nothing is sent anywhere, and no sign-up is needed.

These are estimating tools for everyday money decisions — educational, not financial advice. Your own rates, fees and circumstances will differ.

Each one answers a single question and shows what the result means, so you leave with a number you can act on rather than a page of theory.

How to use these

Every calculator starts with example figures so you can see how it behaves before typing anything. Replace them with your own numbers and the results update as you go. The arithmetic is deliberately plain — a target is essential spending times a number of months, a payoff date is the month the balance reaches zero — so you can check any figure by hand if you want to. Nothing you type leaves your browser.

Where a result depends on something we cannot know — the rate your bank actually pays, the fees on a particular account, whether your income is steady — the tool says so rather than picking a flattering assumption.
